  1. Agreed. In fact, the headline should be about the fact that it is fixed via an over air update, but that wouldn't be as scandalous.
  2. Where do you think the weight could be going while you sleep? According to my googling, the average person exhales 2.8lbs of CO2 per day... And 2 thirds of that weight is the oxygen you breathe in.
  3. https://www.ctpublic.org/news/2024-01-25/historic-church-collapses-in-downtown-new-london Under investigation. The fact that it was sold recently makes me think the previous owners knew the structure was not going to be habitable for long without major repairs. New owners did not make said repairs, etc. etc.
  4. IF you ride your ebike further and faster, while keeping your HR the same for the same length of time, then you are right. Reality says that the majority of ebike users will not do the above. They will ride the same distance faster, or the same pace but with less effort. It takes quite a bit of willpower to force yourself to the above when it's so much easier not to.
  5. Yeah, this. You're in computers and programming, right? Remote work? Why live in the most expensive town in the country?
  6. The recipe does not say when to add the vinegar. I often use vinegar when making potato salad. Adding the vinegar to the potatoes while they are cooling gives the potatoes time to soak it up and get seasoned all the way through before adding the rest of the ingredients. Mixing all non-potato, non-vinegar ingredients into a dressing and then mixing that into the potatoes minimizes the stirring, and thus breaking up, of the potatoes.
  7. I use just a little. And I like it with eggs! Eggs or no eggs, everyone?
  8. If you let the dough rest for 15-20 mins the gluten will relax and you can stretch it further. I always let mine rise in the fridge for at least 24 hours, take it straight out of the container and stretch it by hand. Any time I have tried to knead or otherwise shape the dough prior to stretching to shape, I find it too elastic. Have to let it rest and then sneak up on that gluten!
  9. It's not so much a souring, IMO, just that they didn't want to keep paying him like he was a top tier QB for the next 2 seasons when he hadn't been playing like one. If he were to get hurt in these next 2 games, they'd be on the hook for 2 years, $77M (IIRC), fully guaranteed. And even if he didn't get hurt, they only had a few weeks after the season before that 2nd year became fully guaranteed anyway. So, knowing they are not going to sign on for that guaranteed second year, they had to do what they had to do. Unless Wilson is willing to negotiate, his contract now has negative trade value (no one else in the league is on board for 2/77M guaranteed either), so they'll have to cut him. Good news for him, and the team he goes to, is he's a FA so can pick his team - and - the team he goes to will have a small cap charge for him (only have to pay him vet min since Broncos have to pay the rest) and no loss of picks.
  10. It's an election year...Of course there will be doom and gloom prognosticated. Especially if the other guy wins!
  11. I think it's hilarious that the Broncos are that screwed, cap-wise. As for Russ... He'll have at least $39million for doing nothing next season to ease the pain.
  12. It's not a matter of it being swell, it's more perseverance. I've had good years and bad years... And trail conditions are often a factor. However, it looks like my highest mileage month in the past 3 years was in December.
