Florida Yankee used to roast the peeps on a campfire and make s’mores with them. She said they scream when you roast them on the fire.

We had people at work keel over dead and others keel over but were revived, some returned to work some never did.

I have said this ever since I retired “Retirement is underrated”. I would have liked to spent my retired years with Esther but that didn’t happen. I was the best husband and caregiver I could be but once she passed I had to move on. Dating in my 70s was a lot of fun. I found a good woman to marry me and I try not to compare. It’s hard to find exactly what you think you want because most people in their 70s can’t do the things they could when they were younger. I still cycle and Judie is ok with that. She probably never will ride a bike again. The special needs ministry I was involved in kind of fell apart while I was the primary care giver for Esther. I still find lots to do to keep me busy. Things change as the years go by. I try to just roll with the punches.

Saying goodbye is much easier when you work for free.

I know where a Staples store is, I should call them and see if they do that. Probably not because it is in a city that will dispose of electronics for city residents for free.

Can you ride from the house at all? I hate loading bikes and driving to somewhere to ride. My friend Dale wanted to ride the bike trail at the lake. I told him I would meet him there. He only knows how to get to the trailhead at the far end of the lake. I threw my bike in the back of the CRV because it’s 15 miles to the trailhead. That’s the first time I hauled my bike this year. Owl be hauling it to the other side of Ohio in June for GOBA. Other than that I like to ride from home.

Working late? Right.

I took my winter gloves out of both cars two weeks ago and put them away. Then had to get them out again.

Eagles are not songbirds. We had a crapton of eagles in my area and I have never heard them sing. They do sometimes make a screeching sound.
