  1. An excellent site to locate a vaccination facility near you. You can also opt for the type of vaccine by selecting the site that has the one you want. https://vaccinefinder.org/search/
  2. This amplifying info from the https://thejeopardyfan.com site is interesting.
  3. I had a hard time imagining what international company was founded during the middle of WWII.
  4. In case you want some time to think about it. I think this is an interesting bit of trivia. Category: International Business: Clue: The “effect” named for this company founded in 1943 refers to increased value of a product to a consumer whose own labor is needed. Answer:
  5. Lots of pics of him on Google, but he changed his looks a lot with shorter hair and no glasses, etc. This one at least had long hair, glasses and a smile.
  6. I do that too, but only on the regular clues which come fast and furious. Final Jeopardy gives you plenty of time to figure out what the question is. I didn't mean to demean her in any way. I'm sure she is a lot more knowledgeable than I am. It was just that after I had wracked my brain trying to figure out when the first LA Olympics occurred (I knew 84 but couldn't remember the first one), it was kind of a shock to see her answer the way she did. And Ralph is right, it was a runaway, so it didn't matter. It seemed a bit humorous at the time. Actually, I hate Final Jeopardy. It plays too big of a part in who wins. One person can excel during the regular game, but if it isn't a runaway, that person can lose everything on one quirky clue at the end. Not fair or fun, IMO.
  7. 3/22 - 2.2 miles walking on the TM. 10 miles on the indoor bike.
  8. How do we know what moose poop tastes like? We assume it is disgusting, but has anyone ever eaten it? Maybe it is the tastiest and most delicious thing in the entire universe. I think someone should give it a taste.
  9. Holding your breath for an extended length of time (more than two hours) is an absolute, 100% effective method of preventing not only Covid, but every other infectious virus and disease as well. Excellent work, Thad.
  10. Also, none of those three last night apparently understand how to read an electric bill. Instantaneous power is measured in kilowatts, but power consumption/usage is defined as kilowatt/hours. Maybe they are too young to have ever actually paid for electricity.
  11. So I was doing one of my crosswords this morning and the clue was "chili base". IOW, the very basic ingredient and upon which all other ingredients are added in order to make chili. The answer was "beans". Like Jeopardy, crossword puzzles are never wrong.
  12. There are now seven lawsuits that have been filed and two more that are in the wings and not as yet filed. In these cases, it is always hard for me to believe that seven or nine women, or whatever this will end up at, are all lying. Eventually, the sheer number of accusers has to mean something.
  13. I used to contribute, but then it occurred to me that SW probably makes more money off the ads than he does from contributions, so I opted out.
  14. I'm certainly not browsing for anything to do with butts or butt wipes. The only place I go that shows this ad and tells me not to wipe my butt is the SWF!
  15. I can't imagine why anyone would click on this ad.
  16. My local TV weatherman last night, referring to DST, said, "I am always amazed that we can just arbitrarily change the hours of the day." Duh! We made this shit up to start with, we can certainly change it as we see fit!
  17. Well, that pic isn't really me, but I'm not Mr Clean either!
  18. Only two make a ticking noise. I have a grandfather clock that is so noisy, it remains unwound most of the time. It's hard to explain why I have so many clocks, so I won't even try.
