  1. Or you spell it in a wierd way, which is what I do all the time. Spellcheck never forgets, however.
  2. Even if they paid me a thousand bucks each time I wore it, I probably still wouldn't wear it. But they are advertising it like it is their primo, number-one product.
  3. Crap! I was hoping you were going to get a guest host spot.
  4. Weird. (I before E except after C) There are no rules. Well, there are rules, but words just don't give a fuck.
  5. Some Old Guy

    Marie

... is 61 and has eight children and eight grandchildren. She looks pretty damn good.
  6. Jsharr is wondering: Is Kzoo ever going to figure out how to do his own avatars?
  7. A big difference between real life, one-on-one communication and the complete anonymity of the internet, huh?
  8. Since the state is completely ignoring me, this may be my only hope.
  9. I think what we are seeing is that the host may not be quite as important as we thought. Any person with the ability to read, enunciate and converse with the contestants is probably sufficient. The game and the contestants are the real stars of the show.

  11. I heard on the radio this morning that Dak is now one of the highest paid QBs in the league. 40 million a year. So if they win ten games, Dak gets 4 million per win.
  12. @jsharr seems to have forsaken us... Has he gone over to the dark side, otherwise known as Facebook?
  13. 3/6 - walked 2.4 miles on the treadmill 3/7 - road 14 miles on the exercycle 3/8 - walked 2.8 miles on the treadmill
  14. If you travel around the entire region, the weather can vary greatly, but if you stay in one general location, such as the Valley, it is pretty much always the same.
  15. When I used to fly out to LA a lot for work, I was based in the San Fernando Valley. Great weather. Always warmer than LAX and cooler than the deserts. I spent a lot of time in San Diego, also. Fantastic weather, but I could never afford to live there.
  16. Well, like I said, the weather seldom changes out there, so I guess you have to have some reason to watch the weather every night.
  17. Soon the SoCal "rainy season" will be over and everyday will be just like the last. No need to watch the weather again until next February or so. There is an old joke about the easiest job on TV: being a weather forecaster in southern California.
