I think there was a toilet in the back of the sheriff's office. All Otis had to do was get the key hanging next to his cell and open his cell door. Then he had easy access to the office facilities.

The local news media here does nothing but talk about Covid and the Covid vaccinations. I think they have managed to work many people here into a near-frenzy over getting the vaccine, which is still in short supply. I would rather anyone who is frightened or upset get the shot before me. I can wait.
