  1. You don't believe all that 'end times' crap? The main news here this morning is not hurricanes, earthquakes, fires or Lake Superior feeling inferior. it's the death of veteran Irish sports commentator Jimmy (the memory man) Magee at age 82. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Magee
  2. I like topics where important people post on interesting subjects.
  3. Great day for a bike ride.
  4. "in this book he for the first time reveals himself in the role of Spy...................it discloses in full detail a German plan for the invasion of England"
  5. All Americans are alliterate.

Took some photos on my cycle today. Got a better pic of that uni-cycle guy, one of a redundant, berries, lost doggie notice and a replacement cycling selfie for SW's avatar. "is that electrified?" "it's power assist" Blackberries, not ready yet for plucking Keep an eye out for Woody won't you? Lovely day Lovely smile
  7. Public transport is permitted in extenuating circumstances.
  8. This hurricane season is starting to sound like a scene from West Side Story.
  9. Your friend should decide for him/herself. I don't think you would want my opinion about SAGs.
  10. I've just bought the digital copy on Google Books and will post my reaction in P&R when I've read it.
  11. Went for a walk earlier and the spill over from the pubs was incredible.
  12. The guy hasn't any tattoos, must some sort of jail theme park.
  13. It's Gaelic football. Played with a round ball, players (15 per side) can handle and run with the ball for a certain number of steps before they have to move it from their hands. Points are scored by kicking the ball between the posts and goals (equal to three points) by kicking into the net. Game lasts 70 minutes with one break. It's an amateur sport and the players have day jobs, for example the Dublin captain is a secondary (High) school teacher.
  14. Driveway? The game is over and the Dubs won and anyway there's a police barrier stopping non-residents from entering the area on match-days
  15. Dublin won by a single point just like they did in 2016. Dublin have now won three years in a row and Mayo, despite being close so many times, still haven't won since 1951.
