  1. Hi it has been awhile since I've been on. Working 2 jobs and trying to ride is just consuming all of my time. Just wanted to say hi.
  2. I don't grip the tops. I just lay my hands on them. Fingers loose. Fingers on the front thumbs on the back of the bar. The Enve bar is not slippery at all. It could be that the FSA K-Wing is smooth shiny "polished" clear coat and the ENVE is Painted matt black with more of a texture. I have no desire to wrap it or wear gloves.
  3. 44Mph on a flat sprint ( Doberman chasing me ) 59mph coming down through Crawford Notch New Hampshire White Mountains

  8. Love it. you would have to go shifters cassette and derailleur. I would clean or have cleaned the 7900 stuff first. Recommend ultrasonic but you could use something like a spray dry lube and be very liberal with the stuff . http://www.finishlineusa.com/products/chain-lubricants/dry-lube http://www.finishlineusa.com/products/bicycle-degreasers/e-shift-groupset-cleaner
  9. I have not been on in awhile. I have been working 2 jobs. So I have been very busy. Just stopping by to say Hi. I will try and visit more. 11. LOL. Thanks, ya I was thinking the same thing. It wasn't too bad if i kept below 30 mph. Above that my eyes were watering and sticking (freezing) together. I believe I'll be calling it a season now. Hang up the bike and start going to planet fitness. Also I got a new trainer this year so I am going to make a DVD from some of my bike rides and do some spinning in the living room.
  12. 44.8 miles today. Froze my butt off. 22° with 10 to 20 mph winds. 5405.7 miles for the season 905.7 miles past my season goal of 4500 miles
  13. Thank you Thank you Thank you. I now have Friday off this week. So for this 4 day weekend I may even get to squeeze in a few more miles for the season. The wife wont let me ride on Thursday but...... the rest of the weekend....?
  14. Oh, and I went 860.9 miles PAST my season goal of 4500 miles too.
  15. 33.9 chilly windy miles today. 5360.9 miles for the season. Today could very well have been my last ride for the season. ( at the mercy of the weather this time of the year ). If so I have to say I am pleased with this years cycling, 5360+ miles, 10 century rides ( 9 of those solo/ unsupported 1 group/ club 1 of the 9 being a century and a 1/2 - 157.9 miles ) rode in the cold, the heat, the wind, the rain, heck even the snow. I used up 3 tires ( 2 rear 1 front ) 2 tubes 1 chain 1 cassette 1 rear shift cable.
