I think standalone are also cheaper. I have to vent my dryer inside there is not outside wall. Some day I will get someone in to vent it out through the ceiling and roof.

My laundry space is so small that a top loader is way more convenient.

I went to Morocco and Spain this summer - as soon as you get out of the airport in Madrid you are hit by cigarette smoke. I love Spain, but hated all the smoking everywhere.

I have those, I have a lot of tools! Yesterday I even had to use my reciprocating saw to get the railings off from the front of my house.

but it won't empty or spin, the switch is totally broken. You mean I don't need a switch at all?? I don't care about safety, Nix and the cats can't lift the lid, they don't have thumbs.

I shall go buy sockets now ?

replacing the lid switch - don't have it yet, just ordered it from amazon. I don't have a spanner or socket or whatever to get that ground wire off - pliers don't want to work.
