  1. It’s called becoming irreplaceable in your job!
  2. Exactly! But older than me by 8 yrs or so.
  3. Do they make a vegan version of that elixir of life?
  4. You're still cross with me from the other thread! I'll let @Dottleshead watch this when he wakes up and heads to work today.
  5. Watch your hydration levels! @Randomguy suggests a MINIMUM of one gallon of water pre-ride, followed by a gallon per hour on the ride. Wrap up with another gallon post-ride for each hour of the ride.
  6. I'm scared! But if this pushes pimple popping out of the public eye, though, I will embrace it!
  7. ...do the Super Bowl rings have to transfer too???
  8. I just want to see the video now! Anyone who talks smack on FB, then feels "anxiety, embarrassment and emotional distress" when the video comes out, probably has a strange sense of self. Following up with a lawsuit...well, that's just precious.
  9. Funnier for @ChrisL to make those for dinner! But maybe then his chair would finally get replaced?
  10. No twins in any part of my extended family going back several generations. BUT, we do joke about a few of the crankier folks in the family having likely devoured their twin in utero.
  11. Funny, but I have definitely come to the firm conclusion that food in 2024 is way tastier than food was in 1954!
  12. Western PA logic is lost on me I doubt I could come close to understand Western NY "logic"!!!
  13. Exactly! Who needs TWO full time jobs???
  14. Oh, this video is... BANNED IN IOWA!
  15. Yeah - "King Dick" is a big search topic! 8" wang, 10" rigid not as much. I think the Johnson, though, is more relatable!
  16. The two sci-fi are for folks like @2Far or @goldendesign or many others here who seem to like sci-fi. And the TV version of 3 Bodies is getting some early hype, so we'll see (but I will definitely wait until after I read the first book).
  17. He indicates things are "fine" and normal. Never heard him say a bad word about his brother, nor that his brother and him are estranged in any way. THat's the puzzling bit (to me), but it's his life, so it just had me wondering about twins in general, as there generally is a mythos around them and their connectedness. But that could just be the stories that are talked about vs many other twins who have "normal" sibling level relationships.
  18. Can you imagine a world where you'd turn your nose up to a home-made meal like that??? INSANE!
  19. That's easily a mid-six figure income if you work on your resume a bit.
  20. Is one the boss, the other the follower? Or can't you tell them apart, so have no idea?
  21. I love it! Using "code" names instead! Sort of like those cook books that sneak veggies into kids "junk" food! Brilliant!
  22. I've asked for name tags in the past.
  23. North East PA. Outside Erie, apparently. Some folks are easily "embarrassed" by their behavior, but dig in instead? The drop-off drama in North East, Pa., has shifted from school grounds to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. The case started last August, after Sara Kim criticized her school district superintendent who was working curbside during school drop off. “My children received their first lesson of the school year—the superintendent screams at parents with her arms in the air as a tactic to ‘move the line along,’ ” Kim wrote on Facebook, her lawsuit said. Supt. Michele Hartzell emailed Kim that day, asking her to delete the post. “Possibly consider using some kind words such as, ‘wow, it is nice to see our Superintendent help out,’ ” she wrote, according to court papers. Kim declined. “You had absolutely no qualms about embarrassing me in front of other parents, faculty, and children—why wouldn’t I return the favor?” she told Hartzell. In March, Kim sued the school district, Hartzell and school board president Nick Mobilia, alleging they retaliated against her for exercising free speech. She claims Hartzell gave Mobilia a video of the drop-off incident and that Mobilia showed customers at his wine business in town, causing Kim anxiety, embarrassment and emotional distress. The suit is pending. Kim’s lawyer declined to comment, as did Hartzell and Mobilia.
