  1. Looks like he builds up his own legs too! That's just crazy.
  2. Look at that! The Square One has already learned to banjo, and hardly a year in Tennessee, too!
  3. Sure! That's on special, but only for the first 50 people who order in the next ten minutes - 119,500Kwacha. Oh, and we throw in a free Sham-Wow too. You want one with a label? That requires thinking, so that's extra, 140,200Kwacha. And you still get the Sham-Wow.
  4. You get what you pay for. If you want one with the fancy-schmancy label, that's an upgraded model and it will cost you $6,000, not $5,000.
  5. Those are indeed vents - typically passive vents found mostly over old landfills. The garbage in the landfill decomposes and generates methane. To keep the methane from building up too much pressure and migrating away from the landfill (and possibly into the basements of nearby houses) the passive vents allow release of the built up methane pressure, providing a path of least resistance for relieving the pressure. Passive vents don't always work as well as they should, so some methane migration can still occur.
  6. Oh man, I apologize for that. I'm not a very good guesser.
  7. Usually if they run through all the letters in the alphabet, the next hurricane is named Aaron.
  8. We're dumping Spectrum. Cable, phone, and internet was approaching $230/month for the most basic package. Little increase here, little increase there until it added up to too much. Moving over to Verizon Fios, which just ran lines down our road. They may not be any great shakes either. While they will be about $60/month cheaper, their website and process to start a new account would have Cardinal Ximenez of the Spanish Inquisition chittering with glee. At worst, we'll tolerate Verizon for 3 months if it's crappy, and then we'll qualify as 'new' customers at Spectrum and can get the really cheap rate for at least a year from them.
  9. It's a great city to live in on your way to moving to Tennessee.
  10. I'm working on a concept report "How Drivel and Godzilla Combined to Crash the Grid".
  11. The best drivel $0.57 CN can buy!
  12. Oh, maybe because you're of sound body and (reasonably) sound mind, you have considerable gifts and talents, you have all the food you could want, you have a home, and it's a peaceable and happy home, people around you who love and care about you, and, drawing on what you post here, most of the difficulties in your life are 'annoyances'. Others - they may not be nearly so blessed. Others - the effort that they are making to lift themselves up by their own energies and initiatives - may not be visible to you, but they are making that effort just the same even though you don't see it. I'm sure you contribute to those less fortunate than you in your own way. And that is commendable and admirable. My point being - as an example - a small gesture such as overcoming an annoyance, saving your change, and donating it to a charity of your choosing will in all likelihood change someone's life for the better. They will never know whom to thank, and you'll never know to whom to say 'You're welcome!' but that's unimportant because you would have made it happen.
  13. I think it's pretty impressive your Mom was a doctor!
  14. Mark as solution! I mean, just look at Gilligan's wardrobe! He could have take a few lessons from Klinger.
  15. Absolutely not. Not for that, anyway...
  16. To be fair to RE, I never heard of him either. But I bet he's one of the fastest guys on the team.
  17. Really? Grandma sure had a filthy mouth for being dressed so nicely!
  18. I think it would be unfair if you held them to account for sugar-free Jello.
  19. Hey, to each his own! But if you're going to each anchovies on a pizza, you'd better get yourself a Lume Popsicle to take care of that breath.
  20. Speaking of that, McD's actually does have an app to find their closest restaurant with a working ice cream machine. Most of the time it shows locations in India.
  21. Well, that only needs anchovies to make it a complete and total pizza disaster!
  22. Say, maybe McD's is putting the cocaine back into Coca-Cola! Maybe that's why it tastes so good!
  23. Maybe it's just me, but I think you got swindled.
