I’ll be sure to leave all that goodness in Ohio before crossing back into West Virginia. Even West Virginia has standards. How can I consider this a vacation when a) I’m going to Ohio. And b) visiting the outlaws? I’ll start drinking Thursday morning.

Next week we are driving to Ohio with three adults and two dogs. We are renting a Chrysler Pacifica through Costco. Pick up the rental at Dulles airport on Wednesday to pack the night before. Plans that I’m aware of are a brunch with Janet the Martyr and Silent Doug. Son of Parsnip will ride with Silent Doug for a golf outing then he will be picked up by a friend who lives somewhere near Dayton for Friday night shenanigans. Wedding is on Saturday afternoon at some farm / barn wedding event place between Cincinnati and Dayton. Drive back on Sunday, return the minivan on Monday.

I cannot confirm nor deny. I saw it in the pre-dawn light at a traffic signal. The photo provided is a stock photo off the interwebs. I was surprised to see one as there aren’t many on the roads now. IMHO, investing in one of these is like buying DJT stock right after the IPO; done by enthusiasts rather than investors.

Do you remember those? I saw one on this morning’s commute. It was in very good shape for the age. No visible rust but at 6:00 am there wasn’t enough light for a better look. Pennsylvania tags. I wonder what his story was. Looked similar to this:

Same here. I make a point to call them by name at least once. Retail and Service industries suck because most of the public sucks. It doesn’t cost me anything to be kind and treat them as genuine human beans.

School drop offs are generally cluster fucks with idiots on either side of the equation.

My mom and Dad had twin girls. A few years later, mom’s older brother and his wife have twin girls. Fast forward and a female cousin on Dad’s side (his sister) has twin girls. Then my cousin Matt, son of Dad’s brother has twin girls. We have a tendency towards twin girls on both sides of the aisle.
