I had a pair of Vasque years ago that were great. They must have stopped making that particular one cause I could never find them again.

We’ve always done it. I leased our big woods to a local big producer. It was getting to be too much for me as no one wants to help. This will be enough to do 15-20 gallons a year and fun with the grandkids. I’ll only do about 75-100 taps close by. Better than the 3500 we used to do.

WoGump is making salsa right now. We picked the last zucchini and cukes this week. End of September and we haven’t even had a frost.

Is coming along nicely🙂 new, smaller sugarhouse. Roofing was delivered today and pine siding will be ready in a week or so.

Working Friday and Monday. On the 4th we will be riding over to Kanuckland. We haven’t ridden there since 2019. Mandatory stop at the bakery on Wolfe Island then lunch in Gananaque. Be back in the US in time for pizza and beers. -

We are planning a 5-day trip into the Wind River Mts. Starting July 17. Much of our route is between 10-12K in elevation. Current snowline is at 9800 ft and the higher passes still have 4-5 ft of snow. I really don’t want to bring winter climbing gear, especially as we are flying this year, so we may need to alter our planned route to lower elevations.
