Our local airport connects to Philly on AA SYR is only 1.5 hours away and is usually where we fly from. Delta, Southwest and UA are the main airlines. Sometimes we will fly from ROC as Gumpettes folks live near the airport so we don’t have to pay for parking.

After a local church burned we were told not to go near the building. Of course we did. The local newspaper did a story on the fire and there in the picture were two of us coming out of the old building. Pleading the 5th wasn’t an option😁

We bought my grandparents property near Englewood after my grandmother passed. The plan has been to spend part of the winter there after retirement. Right now it’s just a lot with utilities and a concrete slab. We had the old trailer that was on it removed. We may just end up parking a camper there to use.

Chilly start this morning at -5. Coffee morning for sure.

Now that we got a bit more snow I’d like to get some skiing in. Not sure if I’ll be up to going too far as I had my 4-month blood letting this week, 3 units drawn in 5 days. Usually a little wiped out for a week or so after that.

My original plan was to retire this coming December. When I took the last promotion I did so thinking I would now work until spring of 2025. We’ll see what happens😁

Yikes! That is scary. Glad you are ok! we had a guy ho off the road and come knocking on the door at 4:30am. That’s and eery feeling having someone knock in the middle of the night.
