I gave him a bath and he was unanticipatedly calm. No pictures because it takes two hands to wash an Airedale puppy and keep him in the shower.

He is standing in my lap and I am looking up at him. He seems to be surveying his kingdom and his serfs. not exactly sure why he felt the need to stand on me.

Ran another 5K. First one for this year. I think Beretta likes them better than I do. Thanks to those of you who made a donation to the Middlebury Food Pantry.

Total Brag but I am so happy. Little Paulie has really struggled with stress in competition. He excels in class and in our barn, but has been shutting down for months in stressful situations. Yesterday, he had a very good run but I did not think he had qualified. Large error on my part. I should have checked the scorebook. He Q’ed'!!!!! He also got second place. Lesson learned. Agility is a team sport. Trust your partner. I am so proud of my young boy. PS. LINDY was 3 for 4 with three first places finishes.

You all know he has been struggling with his on course behavior during agility trials. He has been running in circles, disregarding directions, and other foolish stuff. It has been frustrating as his raw talent is fabulous. Today, He got 5 consecutive q’s. That means he qualified in five of 8 runs. The first three runs were really awful. Then he settled down. I am so so happy for him.

We added to our family yesterday. Lily and Jessey now call the UB house home. The black one is Lily. She's 2.5 years old. Jessey is the tricolor one. She's about 4 months. She's a little nut job.

Jessie is 5 months old now an quite the character. Lily has discovered the window in my office that faces the street. She now owns the sidewalk and barks at anyone who uses it without her permission.

The new beasties are settling in nicely. Miss Lily pretty much owns the house (and the RV) already and Jessie is picking up the potty training fast. Both are very smart. I've figured out that they are solar powered. Here they are recharging after morning zoomies. Lily claiming her territory.

Ylva stopped by yesterday and it was the happiest I have seen Paulie and Lindy since Ryan passed. @Sofa_Loren was kind enough to let her stay for a few days. It has been fun to watch them play.
