Razors Edge ★ Posted May 4, 2020 Share #2 Posted May 4, 2020 That dog has more musical talent in it's dew claw than I have in my whole body! But I do LOVE to sing and pretend to play drums.

Longjohn ★ Posted May 5, 2020 Share #5 Posted May 5, 2020 I used to sing when I was the only one at home. Our dog would sing with me and I couldn’t keep singing because I was laughing too hard. He would also sing when I played the harmonica with the same result.
MickinMD ★ Posted May 5, 2020 Share #6 Posted May 5, 2020 When you tune a piano, the exact frequency you tune each key to depends on the brand and type of piano because the resonating undertones related to the sound board, other parts and other strings, differ with each one and the overall sound is influenced by them and they become inexact multiples of the 1, 2, or 3 strings making the main sound for each key - so you have to tune each one slightly off the desired frequency so the whole combination of sounds comes out exactly right. I wonder if the dog's great hearing picks up some of the resonating multiples of the chimes because it sounds like she's singing at dominant or subdominant frequencies - in other words resonating with a chime's main pitch.

tybeegb Posted May 5, 2020 Share #8 Posted May 5, 2020 Every day, but not as well as Bleu. As a matter of fact, this evening we are having our first acoustic jam since this virus thing started. Observing social distancing of course. With PBR. :-)

Well, I can't sing at all in either situation, so it is better if other people are drinking when I sing.
