HoSmudge helped me a bit with the cutting; he held the board while I used the chop saw. He also neatened up the pieces when he noticed the chop saw was set at 1° rather than at 0°. The battery stays on the shelf when not using the tool. Once the battery is installed, the tool won't fit in the slot!
