Sounds European. I'm a Sun-Sat week tracker. It fits better on my traditional calendar.

Interesting. Technically "correct", but odd seeing how it lays out in the way a calendar usually starts with Sun on the left (beginning) and ends with Sat on the right (ending). But Sat and Sun are the "weekend", so that's how we roll. And god said rest on the 7th day (not the 1st).

Popular Post Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted May 24, 2020 Popular Post Share #6 Posted May 24, 2020 24 miles today. Since it’s Memorial Day weekend I rode to DC via Arlington. Crossed the Potomac on the Chain Bridge. Hopped onto the C&O Canal and rode the four miles into Georgetown. Visited the Exorcist Stairs; it’s an official landmark now. Rode Rock Creek past the Watergate and the Kennedy Center to the Lincoln Memorial and the Vietnam Memorial. Lot of bikers (vroom vroom) showed up in spite of no official Rolling Thunder. Crossed the Potomac via Memorial Bridge and Arlington National Cemetery. Rode around Iwo Jima Memorail to Wilson Blvd and back to Falls Church where I left the Jeep.

Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted May 24, 2020 Share #10 Posted May 24, 2020 Interesting fact about the Lincoln Memorial. Attending the dedication in 1922 was Lincoln’s son Robert.
groupw Posted May 24, 2020 Share #11 Posted May 24, 2020 48.5 cloudy and low 60s at the start. Near 70 by the end. I had originally just planned to go to St Libory and back which is about 30 miles. When I got there, decided I wanted to ride longer so I went to Dannebrog and back. I didn’t bring a snack and started to bonk around mile 40.

Razors Edge ★ Posted May 24, 2020 Share #13 Posted May 24, 2020 My normal 30. Busier than I thought as the temps are nice, but a mild drizzle/mist for part of the ride. And, apparently, Strava includes walks and rides in my weekly total. May 8 walking, 145 riding

Guest Posted May 24, 2020 Share #17 Posted May 24, 2020 21 hot sunny miles by the lake. Went to our favorite pizza place afterwards. They are only doing takeout so we had a couple beers in the truck while waiting. Then went to the park by the water to eat.
Bikeguy Posted May 24, 2020 Share #18 Posted May 24, 2020 3 hours cleaning the weeds out of some of the landscaping. I added Preen to the landscaping And finally spread then new mulch. I'll guess we are 50% finished. Of course it was 89F today.
