Popular Post Airehead Posted May 26, 2020 Popular Post Share #1 Posted May 26, 2020 ...these were delivered. One is 10 yards of 2 to 1 blend of top soil and mushroom compost. Isn’t it beautiful? The other is some trucks. 7
Longjohn ★ Posted May 26, 2020 Share #2 Posted May 26, 2020 It’s going to kill the grass where it’s dumped unless you use it quick. What are your plans for it?

Mixing in where the bushes will be in front of the house, filling a few low spots in the lawn for reseeding, starting a cutting bed beside the barn, filling planters for the barn, and then order another load. $44 a yard seemed decent and they deliver for free because the quarry where we get it is about a half mile down our road.

Further Posted May 27, 2020 Share #6 Posted May 27, 2020 I've been paying 40 a yard, well they call it a yard, might be bit light, for mushroom manure and mixing it with my own dirt. Your way is better.... Was the lawn seeded or sodded ? Either way it looks great.

The sod in the dog yard is thicker but front yards catching up fast.
Parr8hed Posted May 27, 2020 Share #8 Posted May 27, 2020 That's awesome. I need my drive done, and want to do the area next to the house where I park the camper. But dang, it's not cheap.

I am going to keep them in that general area and build a perennial garden there.
