maddmaxx ★ Posted May 31, 2020 Share #3 Posted May 31, 2020 I'd like to see the shopowner with a shotgun, but one of two things would probably happen. The thugs would take it away from him or the police would charge him for excessive violence. This is probably why the gun in an amateur's hands is useless. Longjohn ★ Posted May 31, 2020 Share #4 Posted May 31, 2020 I can’t believe these thugs don’t get shot. Must be NY’s gun laws.
ChrisL Posted May 31, 2020 Share #5 Posted May 31, 2020 LA networks have flooded the streets of Santa Monica and have good in the street video of the looting. I’m convinced the looters (at least in Santa Monica) are organized and not part of the movement. A referenced the REI incident, well they moved on to a Vans store where they smashed open the doors, began throwing shoes into the streets and then handed out garbage bags to people going in. Once the frenzy is in full force they move on. The people who smashed the doors didn’t take a thing... These guys wear all black, hoods & facial coverings and back packs with necessary equipment. Randomguy Posted May 31, 2020 Share #6 Posted May 31, 2020 Rochester is a dangerous place, at least it seemed that way when I visited.

Longjohn ★ Posted May 31, 2020 Share #8 Posted May 31, 2020 I don’t think there are any store owners in Pa that don’t have a gun for protection.

It certainly can be. Generally, I feel pretty safe here. Now, not so much.
