Thousands out there now

We've been very lucky in Baltimore.  There were a few shop/bank windows/doors broken Sat. Nite but no one went into those buildings. One fire was set but was quickly put out.  Of course, that's still a knock-on-wood statement in terms of the near future.

No curfews have been imposed in Baltimore, but...."Reinforcements have been called in [from the State Police by the Baltimore Police] to assist in keeping Baltimore safe, officials said Saturday night. Police made the announcement after hours of peaceful protests in the city calling for an end to police brutality and systemic racism."

The riots will not end now.  Our government has declared war on the rioters and is sending in the active military under an interpretation of an early 1800 law.

There will be a revolution.

45 went into the underground bunker this weekend. This is eerily reminisent of Dick Nixon

Do you think Biden would step aside & let 44 take the nomination?

From what I recall active duty troops were used in LA in the Rodney King riots.  To be honest I’d rather see active duty military than national guard deployed for force protection.

Local law enforcement can’t keep up the pace of activity much longer.  Pull the cops off building security, let the military do it and have the cops focus on the unrest.
