groupw Posted June 7, 2020 Share #3 Posted June 7, 2020 21 miles. 88 degrees, 26 mph wind with gusts to 40. Off to clear some clutter by the shed. The wind will keep the bugs away.

Guest Posted June 7, 2020 Share #5 Posted June 7, 2020 Just spent two hours behind the brush mower. Not sure what that equates to for walking distance but I’d guess 2-3 miles.

bikeman564™ Posted June 7, 2020 Share #8 Posted June 7, 2020 62 miles w/ 14 friends had a fantastic time. Rode to a coffee shop, I had a cold brew which was delicious then rode to a dairy queen where I had a banana split blizzard, also delicious

2Far ★ Posted June 7, 2020 Share #11 Posted June 7, 2020 So, based on yesterday’s weigh-in, we’ll call it 2.6. Further updates will be in reference to that, e.g. , “R - 1.3#” and so forth.

ChrisL Posted June 8, 2020 Share #15 Posted June 8, 2020 I had yet another bailout ride. 3 miles after cleaning my crosser. Still haven’t missed a ride in June but yesterday’s food bank & taking down/apart a Murphy bed kicked my ass.... Real ride in store for tomorrow.

Rattlecan ★ Posted June 8, 2020 Share #20 Posted June 8, 2020 Nice 18 km ride on a nearby rail trail with Mrs. Ratt le Can. Stopped mid way at the old train station, now interpretive center for a picnic lunch. Lots and lots of riders and walkers on the trail. Did a bit of work on the trailer in the afternoon, gave the front lawn an overdue hair cut. My friend that was hit with Covid came by for a socially distanced cold beer on the front lawn. He is still suffering effects of the virus. On blood thinners and can't ride a bike for a while yet. Got a few wheel sets to build, worked for a while on that after dinner. Otherwise, not much goin on.

I recommend being the last cycling in the A group. Sounds more impressive! Actually your B group must be pretty fast at those speeds. Ours is around 15 mph.
