Fake blueberries

I bought a four pound bag of frozen blueberries. They look really nice but have zero blueberry flavor or sweetness. How do they do that?

I used to buy frozen blueberries and strawberries, but it just wasn't the same.

I'm having those strawberries I vacuum-bagged and refrigerated on June 23 for lunch today and they look good and crisp in the bag right now.

Blueberries are good for a couple weeks in their orig. box in fridge, but I'm going to vaccuum-bag those, too, from now on if the process keeps working for me.

We used to get some frozen ones that were delicious in oatmeal or muffins.  now they have no taste

The ones I buy at the LGS are wonderful but I had to drive past Aldi on the way home from a doctor appointment and saw these. I will probably eat them anyway but they are tasteless.

I've bought frozen wild blueberries from Maine is what I think the package said. They were pretty good. Now I just pick them at camp. Freeze. Pick from freezer.
