Whew! Thought for a min. my homeowne'rs ins was canceled!

I got a letter a couple days ago from my local State Farm agent to expect two letters from State Farm and to call him if I had questions.

This is normal for June, but with my house fire in March, two letters seemed abnormal and worried me: the second would be greater explanations of policy coverage than in the past so I worried about the first one.

Today I got that first one. I was my July ins. payment bill and was $99.45 less than what I've been paying (they did lower it $1.65 the previous month).

My first thought was, "Oh shit, they're canceling my homeowner's policy!"

Then I read the "Important Information" which included: "...you'll see a dividend in the form of a policy credit...This is for...Mar. 20 through May 31. State Farm is providing this credit to auto insurance customers, since more of us were at home and driving less..."

One more thing to like about State Farm!
