Randomguy Posted July 3, 2020 Share #1 Posted July 3, 2020 I want to freeze some grapes that I have procurred, but I am unsure if I should wash them first. How do you freeze your grapes?
Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted July 3, 2020 Share #2 Posted July 3, 2020 Wash them first dammit. You don’t know where they’ve been. Put them on a baking sheet lined with wax paper or parchment. Freeze overnight. Remove and store in freezer bags until needed. If you put them in bags first they will freeze into graperocks that are useless.

Just toss them in the freezer, singly, gather them up and put in containers after they have frozen.

MickinMD ★ Posted July 3, 2020 Share #13 Posted July 3, 2020 The first thing that pops up on Google for "freeze grapes" is: Wash and dry small clusters of sweet seedless grapes, then place in sealable plastic bags and store in the freezer. Or, remove the grapes from the stems and place, in a single layer, on a baking tray lined with non-stick baking paper. Freeze until firm, then transfer to an airtight container and store in the freezer. Of course, since the site the info comes from is in Australia, maybe you should do it upside down.
