How much did you spend on fireworks?

I spent at least double what I did last year, triple the year before, and next year I'll double it again.

I think I bought some M80's from a kid in jr high, haven't spent a penny on fireworks since.

I blew the door off the mailbox as a kid with a real M80. Mother was pissed. Pop found it funny.

It's nuts in the neighborhood. Indian reservation nearby and all the fireworks (most) are closed. A lot of people staying home and having their own shows. I expect this to go well into the early morning.

It was already well into the early morning when you posted this. :welcome:

There were great, backyard fireworks going off for about an hour from five places in sight of my brother's backyard pool. Some of the fireworks went off almost directly overhead and a few embers winked out just about the pool.  We didn't spend anything, we just watched..

The funny thing is that you can't buy fireworks legally in Maryland and Pennsylvanians can't do it in PA, but a law loophole means businesses in PA can sell fireworks to non-PA residents. So there are roadside stands just on the PA side of roads crossing over from MD!,  I'm sure that's where a lot of the fireworks we saw last night came from.

Not a bad deal for pa! “We’ll collect the sales tax and you take care of the ambulance and ER traffic!”
