donkpow Posted July 8, 2020 Share #4 Posted July 8, 2020 I watched a little the other day. I see there is also something called "The Virtual TdF". I have no idea what that is.
Razors Edge ★ Posted July 8, 2020 Share #5 Posted July 8, 2020 Yep and also classic Tour of California stages and other classic races (like Roubaix or Flanders) too. And by "classic", I really only see the past decade or so. But it is nice too hear Paul Sherwen commentating. @ChrisL hopefully has caught some of these. Yeah I watched some of it Monday but recent recaps aren’t really that exciting to me. Kinda like the Angels highlight games they have been showing on the Angels network. Watching the 2002 WS win was cool but I don’t need to see a bunch of games from the past few years.
Kirby Posted July 8, 2020 Share #9 Posted July 8, 2020 I didn't watch the Classic TDF, but I did see an interview with Tyler Farrar they broadcast during one of the sessions. He talks about his stage win, his current career as a firefighter and his COVID experience.
jsharr ★ Posted July 8, 2020 Share #10 Posted July 8, 2020 They should do the TdF via Zoom on Peloton bikes!
