Square Wheels Posted October 13, 2013 Share #1 Posted October 13, 2013 So my first year of road cycling went OK, I know it's not over, but effectively, most of the great weather is gone. I clearly need to get stronger. I thought I was pretty strong, but crap, I tried this from the latest Bicycling magazine. It looked easy, but I couldn't even do 1. Wilbur ★ Posted February 11, 2015 Share #2 Posted February 11, 2015 Ok, a year and a half later I will give you my advice.. Your average person can't do these easily. Best to shorten up the TRX and use it to bear some of the weight while you are building strength.
Square Wheels Posted February 11, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted February 11, 2015 Thanks, I've since given up on this idea. My trainer at the gym was very against them, said it would likely cause knee injuries. I am still not as strong as I'd like to be, but I am not putting in the work. Dirtyhip Posted February 24, 2015 Share #4 Posted February 24, 2015 I can't do these either. I am not too concerned about it.
Square Wheels Posted February 24, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted February 24, 2015 I can't do these either. I am not too concerned about it. And you're probably a lot stronger than me. I can do it, but it hurts. I needed more core strength which I have now. I'm sticking with what my trainer said, it will cause injury.
