Life is full of difficult choices- mow the lawn, take a bike ride, stay on the patio with ruby

What little coolness we have is rapidly dissipating.  There is actually a slight breeze. There is another bozo mowing but it still seems a little early to me. Staying quiet on the patio seems to be the considerate thing to do.

I had coffee, a cigar, did a crossword puzzle, weeded both the front and back hillsides, took a dip in our inflatable pool... and my wife snoozes on.

This is the perfect day to kayak/fish/swim at the lake. I’ll probably weed the garden and swim in the pool. This is a different year for me.

Ain't nobody mowing grass round here.  We are normally wet enough that very few people have lawn sprinklers.  Walking across my lawn feels like walking on steel wool, grass is burnt to a crisp.

I went for a walk in the woods by the lake and watered the garden.

Going down shortly to pull some weeds.

It is weird here.  Also very dry, but the grass keeps growing where it isn;t brown.
