If you don't need the newest Garmin, the fenix 5 are on sale here.

There is always this one.

Yeah I found that one on the Garmin web site.  I figured one watch was more than enough, let alone 5 watches in the Marq series.

The one with the titanium and orange band.   And I may get anther band, (black or gray) later.

Yay, that's the one I got.  It's hard to suggest, but hold out for a sale.  Maybe labor day?

Again, I got mine from WesterBikeWorks.

Is this turning into a petite car buying adventure?

I remember that...   :D

No...  the longest I will wait is to the Labor Day week.   I almost made the online purchase last night.  But for the possibility of a $200+ savings... I may just wait a few more weeks.  I lived this long without the watch...

All that cash just to tell us we are mediocre, at best?

Yes..

I've never had a 'nice' watch.  the Timex I have that is near death was an upgrade from the typical Casio watches I've worn over the years.    I like the titanium benzyl and watch band. (it will match my bike too)

I can afford it, and I've been a data geek for years...    soon I'll  have the most accurate data for dog walking compared to just about anyone.

Besides...   it will be cheaper than my flag and flagpole.

My watch arrived today.  :D    I spent most of the evening learning the watch.   Most setting are rather intuitive.  Some... not so much.   Updates are done and the battery is charged.

Tomorrow, I get to take out links in the titanium band.  It's way too big out of the box.
