Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted August 4, 2020 Share #1 Posted August 4, 2020 Root canal today. #15, upper right rear done and ready for the replacement crown. The endodontist was excellent. Insurance covered 90% of the work except for the CT scan. Mouth is still numb, but jaw hurts. I’ll get over it. 1 1

Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted August 4, 2020 Author Share #3 Posted August 4, 2020 Nope, I’d be the first blunder. Dr. Russo. She’s nice.
Dottleshead ★ Posted August 5, 2020 Share #4 Posted August 5, 2020 Dude. I don't feel your pain. I'v'e had so much work in my mouth including 3 implants, -- including one that failed and had to be removed -- I don't feel pain anymore. But thank you for reminding me that I need to call my dentist/periodontist.

Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted August 5, 2020 Author Share #6 Posted August 5, 2020 There really was no pain. Discomfort from holding my jaw open for 45 minutes or however long it actually took. My gum around the tooth is irritated. But that will pass in a day or two. Still glad that’s over. Next up, the permanent crown fitting.

My dental insurance has similar coverage. It covers 80% of the crown I just got and I'll find out on Aug. 27 how much I'll have to pay on top of the $25 annual deductible. I broke #14 upper right and got a temporary crown on July 23rd. I get the permanent one on Aug. 27th, plus an overdue cleaning and checkup.
