Johnny Come Lately Name Posted August 7, 2020 Share #1 Posted August 7, 2020 Think political mudslinging is new? Aw hell no. this is part of a letter to the editor about DA Hunt not prosecuting an indictment against a disorderly house. (It's implied in other articles that he shelved the indictment at the request of the village judge and police chief). Put your pearls on - you'll need them to clutch. Break out the smelling salts and pull up the fainting couch. Florid language like this just doesn't exist anymore. Fornication! Drinking! Tippling! Rioting!

Airehead Posted August 7, 2020 Share #5 Posted August 7, 2020 Keeping a house of "ill fame and assignation" that the judge and police chief were known to frequent under assumed cover of research. And alas, dishonest conversation that should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of law. PS-- assignation is a word that should be used more often.

That's one I haven't been able to work into conversations too often, but "the impecunious contingent" has made it's way in a few times.
