petitepedal ★ Posted August 7, 2020 Share #1 Posted August 7, 2020 I can see where it could grow on you... Last weekend I made scones and thought I should have Earl Gray tea...which for me needs milk and sugar....Meh give me the Castleton or Mr Wang's... yes there was some sugar in the scones..maybe 2 tablespoons...but they are not overly sweet. Yesterday..lunch out as I was my neighbors designated driver for her colonoscopy...I had a diet coke...it tasted like crap. The more I avoid some things...the easier it gets.

Airehead Posted August 7, 2020 Share #3 Posted August 7, 2020 I really do like sweets-- I think it is the care and love in baking things for the family.

Reverend_Maynard Posted August 7, 2020 Share #6 Posted August 7, 2020 There are some decent sugar subs out there these days that can reduce the guilt factor when baking sweets... apple sauce, stevia, erythritol, etc. and they don't taste like diet soda
