Driving back from Cincinnati today. Step father in a nursing home.

Hopefully bike rides next two days

Stop by Patoka Lake on I 64 between my house and Evansville.  We'll be set up in the camper.  You can hang out for a few with us!

Rain, rain, rain, rain, and a little more rain.

Unless, of course, the forecast is total BS - AGAIN!   Yesterday evening, I was headed upstairs to get changed for a short ride.  My wife says, "Did you look at the forecast?".  Idiot me looks at my phone and there lightning bolts for the next three hours. I decide to forgo the ride - assuming a massive thunderstorm was approaching.

Fast forward 12 hours, and STILL NO EFFING THUNDERSTORMS!

It's been a blinger of a summer, but please don't wish it away just yet!

I have to work Sat, and DoSmudge2 will be traveling home (to the Yoop). We'll go to camp on Sunday, grill steaks and potatoes, make s'mores, sleep over, head home Monday some time. Knock around a bit, and then she'll head home to GR way too soon.

Wo7 and I are going to DQ for ice cream after work. She had a root canal today and needs to be gentle for a few days. So7 is asking for help at his work storage unit. He may have received a tool and box shipment today and needs help wrassling the boxes into his unit.

Saturday I might ride early if it’s not raining. Farmers market at 8:00 for corn, tomatoes, beans, melon, and basil. I’m going to can tomatoes with basil later.
Work at the LBS in Arlington for Carl. His Dad isn’t doing well so he is flying to Dallas to see his Dad.
