Should we eat MORE shellfish to try to reduce their emissions OR should we eat less so that demand drops and there are eventually fewer of them?

I imagine all the nuclear waste - intentional and accidental - dumped by the Russkies over the years may have created a "super-mutant" type of shellfish!
