Popular Post BR46 Posted August 17, 2020 Popular Post Share #1 Posted August 17, 2020 Mom's health has been going down hill for a while now. She's been feeling better since she started dialysis but she is having a hard time getting in and out of her chair so on a last minute decision I bought her a new recliner. I was driving past the little mom and pop furniture store in town and bought her a new power lift recliner. Wo46 and I delivered it to her this afternoon and she started tearing up. 8 10

Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted August 17, 2020 Share #4 Posted August 17, 2020 My mom called tonight. She wants me to take her to a hair dresser. With Covid the hairdresser where she lives doesn’t come around anymore. She heard that her hair didn’t look good. She was used to getting monthly perms and stuff. Not for months. I hope I’m dead before I reach 80.

My son will do it for free. I told him when I start acting goofy like grandma, take me out behind the barn.
Kirby Posted August 18, 2020 Share #7 Posted August 18, 2020 BR46, that was very thoughtful! Old No. 7 - good for your Mom. It's easy for seniors to get depressed with the isolation and other issues going on, and to fall into a mild depression. Caring about how she looks and wanting to get her hair done is a good sign.
