Science now admits that temperature is not a very effective way of covid screening.  This is similar to fear of touching mail.  The real danger is breathing the exhalations of folks who have no symptoms.

Now the WHO says those people are not contagious. Gotta keep up.

Incorrect.  Keeping up.  Infected people with no symptoms are the greatest spreaders in the country.

The WHO clarified that original mistaken statement about non infectious. There are very few people who meet a very narrow definition but a lot who fall into the "don't have symptoms yet".  The standard used for the non symptom folks really includes those too.

Some of the confusion boiled down to the details of what an asymptomatic infection actually is, and the different ways the term is used. While some cases of Covid-19 are fully asymptomatic, sometimes the word is also used to describe people who haven’t started showing symptoms yet, when they are presymptomatic. Research has shown that people become infectious before they start feeling sick, during that presymptomatic period.

Totally predicted.

Some places however are taking a much harder line.  I believe the UCONN story hit the national news.  At least 14 students evicted from campus for having a "gathering" in a dorm room..........and that didn't even involve any known passing of infections.  There's a reason we're still running in the green.

Someone in an interview said that "you can't blame 19 and 20 year olds for doing what 19 and 20 year olds do".  Yes I can.  They are in many cases shutting down schools for others who can follow the rules.  Time to grow up.
