There are some IPAs without the “kick in the head” hoppiness. My favorite around here is Kros Strain “Fairy Nectar”. Citrus and refreshing with just a little bite to it. Nice on a hot day! I went through my NEIPA phase, and now I’m over it and back to my first love: malty beers like Quads, Tripels, Abbeys, Barleywines, Scotch Ales, Porters....and the occasional stout. Once in a great while, a pilsner, a witte a saison or a sour.
