Zephyr Posted August 30, 2020 Share #3 Posted August 30, 2020 6 measly miles. Was going for a 30 mile rude but had two flats in the first 6 miles so called for a pickup 2

Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted August 31, 2020 Share #8 Posted August 31, 2020 24 on the Cross County Trail. Perfect day for outdoor activities. A lot of people out walking or biking on the trail. It’s been a while since I rode the gravel bike.

Razors Edge ★ Posted August 31, 2020 Share #10 Posted August 31, 2020 I'm betting a few folks here might recognize the stretch of "road" from mile 32 to mile 80 And detours later on are a PITA.
groupw Posted August 31, 2020 Share #11 Posted August 31, 2020 Just a few around the fairgrounds. They scaled back a lot of stuff to be able to have it. Means we aren’t running around near as much.

az_cyclist Posted August 31, 2020 Share #13 Posted August 31, 2020 25.7 miles . I did stop to help a cyclist put a tire on. Deep dish rim, and I was sweating enough I could not get the bead over the edge. Had to resort to using the tire lever.
Randomguy Posted August 31, 2020 Share #14 Posted August 31, 2020 42 miles out and back. I met a coworker at an outdoor cafe for lunch, then rode back. After a brutal headwind for the first ten miles, the winds died and suddenly became calm and I got into a nice rhythm. After taking too much time for lunch (plus a mid-ride pilsner), I had a bit of a slog on the 2 mile climb out of the valley on dead legs. The dead leg feeling remained, but I got into another nice rhythm and had a wonderful day on the bike.

I don't have a mount for the garmin yet, and I am unlikely to be on Strava. I am slow and don't need to show the world just how slow I am. We all ride in different places, so it's no comparison or race between any of us.
