Randomguy Posted September 3, 2020 Share #1 Posted September 3, 2020 ? I didn't hoard, but I was a little anxious that I would run out. There was enough sporadic supply to keep me at around 6 rolls the whole time so far.

I am down to 5 rolls, but they are the fuzzy math rolls where Charmin considers each roll to be the equivalent of 4 rolls somehow.

Wo7 has some anxiety about certain items not being available in times of need. TP is one of those. Every trip to Costco (every two weeks) picks up a pack. These are Costco packs that will stock a large college dormitory. We have three. 3 1
Prophet Zacharia Posted September 4, 2020 Share #8 Posted September 4, 2020 Never stocked, but keep getting regular orders from Amazon monthly. We’re good for awhile.
sheep_herder ★ Posted September 4, 2020 Share #9 Posted September 4, 2020 Bought a couple of packs today, as we were down to a partial pack in the house and one in the shop. We never hoarded, but bought a bit along the way.
shootingstar Posted September 4, 2020 Share #10 Posted September 4, 2020 I do have to hoard abit now because we don't have a car. So gettin' toilet paper now and biking home with it before winter snow flies. We're supposed to have an even tougher winter comin' up.
jdc2000 Posted September 4, 2020 Share #11 Posted September 4, 2020 TP is still hard to find in my area, if you want something other than the Extra Coarse 80 grit stuff.
Dottleshead ★ Posted September 4, 2020 Share #12 Posted September 4, 2020 Honestly? I''m not sure. I just wipe my ass with whatever's in the bathroom. I'm not too proud as long as it's lemony fresh.
Mr. Silly Posted September 4, 2020 Share #13 Posted September 4, 2020 We still have an unopened pack of some off brand lavender scented TP as a back up. We treat it as the Strategic Tiolet Paper Reserve. We'll get a new pack of our preferred brands before we tap into that.
team scooter Posted September 4, 2020 Share #14 Posted September 4, 2020 We've always kept at least two 20 count packs of TP in stock. Stems from having raised kids I guess. We keep a few packs of paper towels in stock too.
Kirby Posted September 4, 2020 Share #15 Posted September 4, 2020 I donated some of the extra random brands I purchased during the height of the frenzy here in the northeast and restocked with some of my preferred choice.

MickinMD ★ Posted September 4, 2020 Share #17 Posted September 4, 2020 You have to remember that my house fire on 3/3-4 meant that I had NOTHING in storage when the pandemic hit. I was lucky to find a 4- or 6-pack of Scott toilet paper as I moved into my furnished apartment. Costco sells toilet paper in 30 pack packages arranged in five 6-packs. I got one of those in late march. I finished the Scotts and am in the middle of the first of the five 6-packs of Costco's Kirkland brand TP. I figure I've got at least a year's left and I should be back into my house by then. The same with Kleenex. Costco sells the long-box version of Kleenex in 12-packs, so I've got enough for years. The same with Paper Towels, which I go through a lot, mainly because I use them as bibs, etc. when I'm eating food in my recliner in front of the TV. I've got two 12-packs of 160 sheet (tearable into half-sheets) Kirkland that are almost 50% bigger than the 110 sheet Bounty and the Kirkland paper towels are virtually identical to Bounty in quality. I now have enough paper products to last until I'm back in my house. ,
jsharr ★ Posted September 4, 2020 Share #18 Posted September 4, 2020 Never hoarded. Got down to just a few rolls once and when I asked on our neighborhood FB page where I could find TP I was pointed to a store where I went and bought a good sized package and then different neighbors dropped off TP, so we were overstocked and ended up giving some away too.
