So I blew doors at 1 PM & was chilling on my couch in my t shirt & gym shorts. Sons GF who works for my company gets off at 3 PM, comes to my house & is surprised to see me chilling on the couch.

Why do you get to leave early and I have to stay to 3?  Rank has its privileges!  😂

It is odd having someone who practically lives with you work with you too.  She works on a different campus & doesn’t report to me but her group and me/my team work closely together.

I thought I heard he died so I excluded him.  I'll have to look it up.  

Confirmed.  He passed in 2013

I was paid for both, but in the end, results is the winner. As a scientist, it did not matter how much time you put in, if there were not results, you were in trouble. Working smart is a true talent.
