Pizza came oot delicious :)  I think I'll use h'wheat flour from now on. Made a thin crust which came oot crunch, the way I like it. Bought a pepperoni stick and sliced it myself, and green peppers.

I was watching a food show over the weekend and they were at some pizza joint in Detroit that serves “Detroit style pizza”. Apparently it’s square & similar to Chicago style but not as doughy.   It looked really good.

Have you ever had it?

Yes, Buddy's Pizza. Their pizza is very good IMO. The original one is in Detroit still, and there are others scattered around the area. But not many.

A day late and a dollar short. Last night was some fast food chicken, but a friend I did a call to gave me some fresh Roma tomatoes! Made a B.E.L.T. Sandwich. (Bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato) with Sam Adams Oktoberfest. Egg over easy. Photo just before putting the halves together to smoosh the egg! Yum!

I’m cooking up a bunch of stuffs from the garden. The chicken wasn’t from the garden but I did have some in there today. I haven’t tasted this yet but it looks good. The fresh basil smells so good.7D49CF43-22D6-4D8E-B516-777A390784ED.jpeg.d7cc3bad2e9120d938f555e5d2f38248.jpeg

I almost put this mushroom in it. I’ve eaten them before from the yard but this one is so big I wasn’t sure about it.

I think they are giant puff balls and are edible. https://herbarium.usu.edu/fun-with-fungi/giant-puffballs

That is a good article on puffballs. We get those sometimes too but this wasn’t a puffball. It was just a giant mushroom. See the stem, puffballs don’t have stems. They grow directly on the ground. It may be it grew so big because it rained all night.

I also have a bunch of these growing in the same area. No way I’m going to eat these.
