Popular Post Dirtyhip Posted September 10, 2020 Popular Post Share #1 Posted September 10, 2020 We have picked out all the finish things, and only had one disagreement on a bathroom pedestal sink. He said we need cabinets and storage at every possible place. I caved. All of the finish things have been picked. We even know the color roof we want. Light grey. More good news. We are all approved for a standard septic (which is the cheaper kind and less hassle). I have a big replacement field area in the event that i need additional lines. Everyone at the city has been amazing. One person told me that we would need our plans drawn by the septic guy. The lady at the counter drew them for us with my husband. She helped guide him. I think they thought we were cute. I was jumping up and down and clapping during every stage of the process. So, the last experience I had with my septic guy was paying him off and thanking him for his help over the years. I ended the relationship with a nice tip, or so I thought. I was on the phone with him for a half an hour a few days ago. I think he is going to treat us very well. We are already on the waitlist for drilling. Down payment is sent off and my BFF is digging the hole. That worked out well for us. HAHA, get it. I am calling a construction site place to get some dirt moved around very soon. I need some rock. The house is adorable. It's going to be white. White with stained wood doors, knotty alder cabs with white wash. White subway tile for backsplash. The colors will be via colorful Le Crueset pots, artwork, and flowers. The walls will have a light tint with white. 9

We ended up changing it out for a cabinet.

If it's a full bath, it needs storage for sure.

One diverter to multiple lines, I think. I am not too sure. My husband knows. 1000 gallon tank to a junction to multiple lines, i think is how they do it,

Scrapr ★ Posted September 10, 2020 Share #20 Posted September 10, 2020 wait until the bullets change orders start flying & you have to make a decision without consulting K. That will be the test it is really a good thing you are picking out everything ahead of time instead of having 'allowances'. Allowances are always too small and for inferior products. ie: builder grade I'm liking your builder for holding your feet to the fire here.

Kirby Posted September 10, 2020 Share #23 Posted September 10, 2020 Fun seeing all the steps come together. I like the look of a pedestal sink, but I tend to agree that you can never have too much storage. I'm eager to see pictures as this develops.
