Dottleshead ★ Posted September 22, 2020 Share #6 Posted September 22, 2020 I test safari as one of our supported browsers. It does not suck though Apples keychain security kinda does.

Razors Edge ★ Posted September 22, 2020 Share #8 Posted September 22, 2020 I went from the 6S Plus to the 11 Pro a while back, and Safari is still "fine" and Apple is still seamless. Honestly, if you don't like iOS it's NOT because of the OS, it's a philosophical issue with Apple or the late, great Steve Jobs.
Kzoo Posted September 22, 2020 Share #9 Posted September 22, 2020 I use Safari on the iPhone and it is OK. I use to us it on the MacBook but it got infected once many years ago. Viruses on the Mac tend to all stay in the application so if you do get one it's usually easy to deal with. Delete the app and reload the app. That doesn't work so well with base apps like Safari that get loaded with the OS. You can't easily kill it off and reload jut that app. So I went to Chrome and use Firefox as a backup browser. I ignore Safari. Every couple years Chrome gets flakey. I send the app to the trash can, go to Firefox, install Chrome, done.
