Randomguy Posted September 22, 2020 Share #1 Posted September 22, 2020 A friend has to send 70 photos to his brothers to help settle an estate. What is the best way to allow access or send photos?
Dirtyhip Posted September 22, 2020 Share #2 Posted September 22, 2020 Put it in an online photo album? Then just provide links? What is that one Photobucket, or something like that

bikeman564™ Posted September 22, 2020 Share #4 Posted September 22, 2020 Depending on the max file size, put them in a folder, and email a zip file. Or multiple zip files. 1
groupw Posted September 22, 2020 Share #5 Posted September 22, 2020 We get personal storage with Datto Workplace through my employer. I upload them and then message them a link. Dropbox is very similar, I think.
Randomguy Posted September 22, 2020 Author Share #6 Posted September 22, 2020 I told him to go to dropbox and he is an idiot tech-wise, so a five minute conversation turned into me saying "I don't know, I am not at your computer. Just follow the damn prompts." after 20 minutes. Geez. His neighbor sent him the 70 photos in 70 individual emails, because she isn't tech wise, either. I told him either forward every damn email or open every damn email and save. 1

Kirby Posted September 22, 2020 Share #8 Posted September 22, 2020 I'd put them in shutterfly and then use the share photos option

Ignoring my first delivery method where Realtors don't need greater than the MLS standard 1500 pixels, downsize all photos to 1500px and email about 25 at a time (full size files are so large that can only email 2 at a time before hitting Gmail limit.) I personally use Dropbox for full size or mp4 video, but sound like problem is on the originator side. Never have gone above the "free" Dropbox limit as trained recipients to delete from Dropbox as they receive and download them - I of course have the original if need to re-send in another format. If the made a specific folder, perhaps name 'probate photos' and saved each and every single email into that folder, would only have to do one single upload to Dropbox, "select all" from that folder and upload.
Allen ★ Posted September 22, 2020 Share #10 Posted September 22, 2020 Not helpful, but I have my own url. When I did photography I would create an album specific to the client. Photobucket has a batch upload/download feature. The downloads are compressed into a zip file.

Create a photo order, print them all out at the Walgreens in the brothers name (if that is possible) and charge the estate (or the idiot can pay) for the cost of the photos. He can drive and pick up the photos. This also solves the next problem... How do I print a picture? My printer won't do that.

Page Turner Posted September 23, 2020 Share #15 Posted September 23, 2020 ...he can start up an account here on the forum, then load them all into his 1 Gb storage for images, then start a thread on this and post them all in a series off posts, , then tell whoever needs to look at them where they are with a link.
