We are talking about the plains in Montana in September, right? Shouldn't you guys be like at -48F by now?

The trees are just beginning to turn, so hopefully some nice photos are just around the corner.

How can you live somewhere there are so many metropolises over 3000 people? Also, I thought they got snow in Montana. I heard they don't plow the Beartooth highway after labor day.
MickinMD ★ Posted September 26, 2020 Share #6 Posted September 26, 2020 When I visited Yellowstone and stayed near the NE Entrance in Silvergate, Montana, they told me the long road from I-90 to there was closed from Sept-April. I hope those folks are getting some Global Warming.
Square Wheels Posted September 26, 2020 Share #7 Posted September 26, 2020 94 feels too hot for this time of the year, we're in a spell of 70s weather. Nights are cool
sheep_herder ★ Posted September 26, 2020 Author Share #8 Posted September 26, 2020 It was that last warming blip, before the cold spell rolled into the area. The high temp was only present for about an hour, before it cooled back into the 80s. These things happen, when fronts are moving into the area.
