Not knowing about this trail I looked it up....  Google..    https://gaptrail.org/trail-info/about-the-trail

Am I reading this correct...  

Now complete to Pittsburgh, the 150-mile Great Allegheny Passage connects with the 184.5-mile C&0 Canal Towpath at Cumberland, MD to create a 334.5-mile route between Pittsburgh and Washington, DC

That's a LONG ride.    Yeah...  beast would be correct.  Or now tired beast.

Part of the C&O will beat you up. You are not riding on pavement. Roots and ruts are pretty bad in some places. I hit a big pothole that was full of water and my trailer went airborne. Petite was right behind me.
