106 degrees is the highest outdoor temperature I've ever experienced.  It was in SoCal with low humidity and I was surprised that the "dry heat" thing is true - that 106 seemed to feel better than a humid 90.

A dry 106, a humid 90 - doesn't exactly make me want to go riding either way.

Still much, much better than 45 and windy, IMO.

I would take a 45F with winds!

Actually, I said the dreaded words last night "I want it to get cold enough to wear my balaclava.  I want to fat bike in the snow."

My husband said "Oh, screw you!"   :D

It's been hot and smoky.  I am ready for a season change.

I felt pretty good until the last 10 miles or so. At that point the sun & wind made my skin feel like I was laying under the broiler, and my whole body was gritty from salt build up.

The climb up Carefree to the Bartlett Lake road was a bit tougher than in the past, but nothing brutal.
