Razors Edge ★ Posted October 5, 2020 Share #1 Posted October 5, 2020 Gotta say, the race was pretty mild with a few crashes, but the last 20-30km is where it heated up and became a race. Spoiler I generally have like Alaphillipe over the years and found him an exciting but humble youngster, but it does appear being the Great French Cyclist of the modern era is starting to give him a little bit of "spoiled" kid. I really liked his win in the Worlds, but his behavior in the final 2kms or so of LBL was definitely overly "dramatic" - a few too many swerves, a bit of jawing to Hirschi, a spring deviation, and a celebration before the line were all "bad form" to me. Hopefully he calms down a bit and returns to his earlier "nice kid" persona. Kudos to Roglic for sticking to the sprint for the win! And Pogacar also seemed to be cut off, and he may have moved up (but less likely).
JerrySTL ★ Posted October 5, 2020 Share #2 Posted October 5, 2020 That's got to be embarrassing.

Kirby Posted October 5, 2020 Share #4 Posted October 5, 2020 He seemed genuinely apologetic about swerving and not keeping his line. What was Lance's snide comment about Contador once after Contador bonked? "he's young" or something like that?
