No

I think if I was female and of childbearing age, I might.   Hear me out:

The economy is a shit show and is going to get worse (my opinion, significantly worse), jobs are scarce, and not much you can do without risking getting all kinds of covid shoved into every exposed orifice you have.   What better time to kick back and make a baby or two?

You aren't going to want to go out and socialize or do sports when all engorged with human offspring and effluent anyway, and you don't want to go to concerts, museums, indoor restaurants, etc. with all the sick and stupid anti-maskers.  "Just isolate and grow an human baby inside you for a spell" might be pretty tempting if you were previously thinking of putting it off for a few years.

I don't think it is a bad idea.

No, but there was an article in the NY Times about how a disproportionately high number of women have left but mainly because of the increased demands due to home schooling, caregiving for relatives and the impact on industries that have disproportionately high number of women such as hospitality.

You have no idea.  A pregnant person is not fit to mingle with pleasant company, being that you are stuffed like a whale, swollen from all ends, can't drink alcohol, are queasy as hell, hormonal as crap, and are generally helpless as a small child and high maintenance.  You might as well take that time out when there is very little socializing to be done and everything you might want to do is shut down anyway.

Largely what I summarized  in my note.  That disproportionately more women have left the workforce due to covid related factors.  But the loss was due to the fact that more women were handling childcare for kids who could no longer attend in person school or daycare.  They also had a disproportionate share of care giving for sick relatives.

Ah, thanks!

I am going to go and try to get lots of women pregnant, I think, as long as they want to.  I will show pictures of RO as proof of concept.
