For a 300 lb guy to drop 20 lbs is about 7% of his body weight. I have personally lost 5% on some days. He could be exaggerating as well. A 5% loss would be 285. I'm not saying that the pooping has no effect, but I think dehydration could play a bigger role than poop. BTW, a lot of the weight of poop is water, if your lucky.
